Welcome to Finding Strength and Hope, LLC!

If life feels heavy — the anxiety, the same fight, the habit you cannot shake, or the child who is struggling you are in the right place.

You don't have to walk through it alone.

Meet Chad

Charles D. Hatchel (Chad), LPC

Hi, I'm Chad, a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly two decades of experience helping people navigate some of life's most difficult seasons.

Are you dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship or family challenges, parenting struggles, stress, substance use, or simply feeling stuck? You're in the right place.

My goal is to help you discover your strength and embrace hope — even when life feels difficult or uncertain. I believe counseling should empower you, not define you by your struggles. We start with where you are, recognize the strengths you already have, and work together to build greater self-awareness, resilience, confidence, wellness, and recovery.

Counseling is a partnership. I'll listen without judgment, walk alongside you, and help you develop practical tools to navigate life in a healthier way. You don't have to figure it all out alone.

How much does a session cost?

Self-pay is $120 for a 55-minute individual or couples session. If you use insurance, you usually pay your plan’s copay, coinsurance, or deductible instead of the full fee. We can help you check that before you start.

Yes. Plans commonly used here include: Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna/Evernorth, Military OneSource, Oscar Health, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare/UBH, among others.

If your plan is not listed, ask. Coverage still depends on your specific policy.

What if I do not want to use insurance?

You can pay the $120 session fee directly. HSA and major cards are accepted.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancels and no-shows may be charged the session fee. Emergencies are handled with care — just reach out as soon as you can.
